A Bachelor’s degree (Honours) in Chemical Engineering or a related qualification (NQF Level 8) with at least two (2) years of experience in utilisation of Chemical Engineering Unit operations including reactors, distillation unit, crystallisation unit etc. Excellent English communication skills (both oral and written). A master’s degree will be an advantage. Ability to provide hands-on training to students on interpreting lab results. Manage, upgrade and maintain laboratory facilities; prepare budget projections for laboratory equipment, materials and components; assist the Head of the Department in the purchasing of equipment; order components and materials for laboratory work and avail to students; propose new developments of laboratory facilities and coordinate the experiential training of students for the department. Perform any other work-related duties as assigned by supervisors.
