Requirements
A Master’s degree (NQF Level 9) in Mathematics/Applied Mathematics or a related qualification with at least four (4) years of lecturing experience at tertiary education level and/or industrial experience or an equivalent combination of relevant professional experience. Excellent English communication skills (oral and written). Competence to teach at least three of the following courses: Linear Algebra, Complex Analysis, Real Analysis, Calculus and Advanced Calculus or Actuarial Science-related courses. A credible record of peer-reviewed publications, community engagement, supervision of students (research) at undergraduate level, as well as a relevant Doctorate will be an advantage.
