The Fox School of Business at Temple University invites applications for a non-tenure-track assistant or associate professor of practice with an area of expertise in business law. This position will be located in the Department of Risk, Actuarial Science, and Legal Studies. Professors of practice are expected to demonstrate excellence in teaching through classroom instruction and related pedagogical activities, service contributions to their academic program as well as continued engagement in their professional fields.
We seek candidates capable of contributing to the department’s teaching needs at various levels and who engages in continuous improvement in teaching and pedagogy. We offer graduate and undergraduate courses in business ethics, corporate governance, compliance, employment law, environmental law, real estate law and white collar criminal law.
- The applicant must have a Juris Doctor degree and broad experience in the legal sector. Prior teaching experience is strongly preferred.
The anticipated start date for the position is January 1, 2025.
