Job Description Summary:
The A&E CAD Department is seeking a Part-Time Curriculum Development Assistant (up to 19 hours per week) to assist program coordinators CAD specializations. The role will focus on entering and formatting new curriculum materials for student handouts and Blackboard assignments. The assistant will work closely with coordinators to ensure materials are organized, accessible, and prepared for delivery. Strong attention to detail, proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe products, and familiarity with Blackboard is preferred.

Job Description:

Position Overview:

The A&E CAD Department is seeking a Part-Time Curriculum Development Assistant to support curriculum development for our CAD specializations. This role will assist department program coordinators in entering and formatting newly developed curriculum materials for student handouts and Blackboard assignments.

While the Curriculum Development Assistant will not be responsible for writing the curriculum itself, the position plays a crucial role in ensuring the materials are properly formatted and prepared for delivery to students. The assistant will work closely with program coordinators to ensure all course materials are organized, accessible, and ready for use.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist program coordinators in entering and formatting new curriculum materials.
  • Prepare and format student handouts for clarity and consistency.
  • Organize and upload curriculum to Blackboard for student access.
  • Ensure all materials are up-to-date and in line with department standards.
  • Collaborate with faculty and coordinators to update and improve curriculum as needed.
  • Maintain clear and organized digital files of all curriculum-related documents.



Qualifications:

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with Adobe products.
  • Familiarity with Blackboard preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Prior experience in an educational or administrative support role is a plus.



Requirements:

  • Must be able to work up to 19 hours per week.
  • Availability to attend departmental meetings and collaborate with coordinators as needed



Pay Rate:

$23.00/hour
