General Statement
Adjunct instructors teach courses within a specific discipline to a diverse student population on our main campus in Worcester and/or at additional satellite locations within our service area (i.e., Senior Center, Downtown, and area high schools). Courses may be assigned for days, evenings, or weekends, and responsibilities include instructional preparation, assessment of student performance, and assistance to students. Adjunct faculty will attend a limited number of faculty meetings.
Job Requirements: Minimum Qualifications
- Masters in IT, cybersecurity, computer science, or bachelors with relevant industry experience
- Ability to teach day, evening, or weekend classes in multiple campus locations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Industry experience focused on computing and networking infrastructures including hardware, operating systems (client and server Windows, Unix, MAC, Android, etc), storage technologies, Internet and network protocols, WANLAN network infrastructure design (home, small business, and enterprise), third-party enterprise software support, network services and supporting software, systems programming scripting, infrastructure security, digital forensics, network management, telecommunications, and customer support.
- Understanding of common industry certifications such as CompTIA, Microsoft, and Cisco.
- College teaching experience
