As a part of a diverse community of faculty and staff who represent many faith systems and worldviews, the Byrum School of Business at Marian University in Indianapolis, IN seeks a dynamic and innovative leader for the position of Business Adjunct Instructor who will promote our Catholic Franciscan mission and identity by teaching business consulting courses. Teaching-focused candidates in any area of accounting, finance, or marketing are encouraged to apply.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Actively engage the Catholic Franciscan mission and identity of Marian University by modeling the Franciscan Sponsorship Values and honoring the legacy of the founding congregation through transformative education, unity in diversity leadership through service, integrating faith and life, and institutional policies.
- Teaching one or more three credit hour course at the undergraduate level
- Teaching one of the following courses: Principles of Economics, Principles of Finance, Business Ethics, Business Law, and other business related courses.
- Teach in a team environment
- Manage student led teams
- Create and foster classroom engagements between students and external business professions.
- Link area of expertise to other areas of business
- Help student develop key skills related to communication, teamwork, and problem solving.
- Facilitate, mentor and coach students.
Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:
- Has a graduate degree in Business and business related experience
- The ability to collaborate with other instructors and external partners is an important component of this position.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Commitment to collegiality and working in a team environment
- Demonstrated potential for excellence and innovation in student-centered instruction.
